15 Feb 2004 First USA State on verge to outlaw abortion Planned Parenthood, NARAL and other pro-abortion, anti-abstinence orgnaizations are afraid of this ground-breaking legislation; so much so, that they have sent urgent alerts nationwide for radical abortion advocates to call and e-mail the 36 state Senators of South Dakota. Currently, the pro-life advocates are being out-lobbied 100 contacts to 1! Because of this situation, the Alpha Center is seeking immediate national life and abstinence advocacy leaders to help. Please take a moment of your time to contact South Dakota's Senators. South Dakota's Legislative web site allows for e-mail messages to be sent easily. Please visit the " Send an E-mail " web site, write a simple message in favor of 1191, and choose any of the Senators from the list (use the back button to send the same message to multiple Senators. There are only 36 total senators.) Leslee Unruh, founder of the Alpha Center and president of the National Abstinence Clearinghouse testified in favor of the bill. The South Dakota House of Representatives already passed the bill with a resounding 54 to 14 vote. A majority of the senators have sponsored the bill, but they still need your encouragement to vote for life. Please help South Dakota pass this legislation so that unborn babies everywhere can be saved!
