Uitenhage outreach

Doctors for Life International was invited to visit schools in the Uitenhage area of the Eastern Cape Province (South Africa) Africa). Six schools were visited and more than 1000 children were exposed to information on how to avoid HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Abortions.

Dr. Albu van Eeden is the presenter in the new School AIDS video," In your face", shown here at a school in Uitenhage

The latest two video productions by DFL's audio-visual production house, Orison Pictures, proofed to be extremely effective to address youth on these sensitive issues. "In Your Face" is a 30 minute production about avoiding HIV/AIDS and STI's by means of a value-based life-style while "All About Abortion" is a 60 minute production that exposes the truth about Abortions, deliberately hidden from unsuspecting pregnant girls. Dr Albu van Eeden (CEO)), Abraham Warren and Heinrich Botes from DFL's AIDS Department spent a week in Uitenhage.

Many girls were deeply touched by what they saw about abortions and promised in counselling that they will immediately change their sexual lifestyles. There is reason to believe that at least one unborn baby's life was saved by this effort! The information about HIV/AIDS was presented in an "in your face" manner which kept the learners at a wide variety of schools spellbound! Many boys and girls promised that this "must not happen to me".
