DFL Challenges Parliament In The Constitutional Court Re Abortion (Amendment) Bill And Three Other Health Bills
DOCTORS FOR LIFE have filed a suit in the Constitutional Court against the Speaker of Parliament and the Chairman of the National Council of Provinces alleging that Parliament failed to comply with two sections of the Constitution when it passed four Health Bills at the end of 2004.

Two studies published last week in the New England Journal of Medicine report on the benefits of routine screening for HIV in the general US population. If instituted, routine screening will result in huge public health benefits along with the possibility of eventually eradicating the disease when a vaccine becomes available.
