The Doctors for Life logo is inspired by the world famous painting,
"The Creation of Adam", by Michelangelo (1511), on the ceiling of the Cistine
Chapel in Rome. The section shows God's hand extending a finger towards Adam's,
to bestow the spark of life.
It symbolises the very first principle on which Doctors for Life's aims and endeavours
are based: that man was created by God in his own image, that God is still the
giver of all life, and therefore it is sanctified.
