Esifuleni Day Care Center

Sipho Zondi, from the Mthaleni area, took notice of the many orphans just across the way in the hills of Esifuleni and made a request to DFL for assistance. This is a very traditional area and from the high rate of deaths from AIDS, many children were left without anyone to look after them. Since opening a daycare center here, we have been able to have a building put up to hold a crèche for the preschool age children and a separate room to store the food. We also have just been able to get a borehole on the property because of a recent donation so they can receive water instead of walking a good distance to get their daily supply of water.
