Mthaleni, Day Care Center Officially supported by DFL: 20
A young man, Sipho Zondi, felt in his heart to help the orphaned children who were increasing in number. He approached DFL asking them for support. People in this area are very poor and as a result, the Care Center is doing very well with the children. Despite the fact that some of them need medical attention, they are generally in very good condition. We are thankful to see them becoming chubby and looking healthy as it was very much the opposite when we saw them for the first time. There is great potential for development in this area because DFL has recently been given ground from the chief to start building another centre. A building is in the midst of construction with the walls up, and the door & window frames in place. Life Child just recently received a donation so that a borehole could be put on the property here. Now they have fresh water right on the site and no longer have to walk a good distance to fetch water.
