Wasbank, Day Care Center Officially supported by DFL: 23
This center started when a Pastor in the Wasbank area, Mr. Gwebu, developed a passion for the children in his community when he saw the increasing amount of street boys in the area. He started out supporting these children on his own but later managed to find help from DFL. This Center also concentrates on supplying the children with an education therefore they have a teacher coming in on a regular basis to teach the children Christian values, songs and a basic education. At present, there are many pre-school children. DFL has been greatly blessed as we have been given a piece of land on which to build another Center. The children have moved to the new site now where some little ones stay the day and the school kids come before and after school. A fence has been put up around the property.
